6 most common errors for Vibrant users

These error codes read on a merchant’s device when there is an issue with the transaction that cannot be processed. The explanation that the terminal gives is usually insufficient to understand what is causing the error. 

 

So here is a list of the explanations and recommendations of the errors you might encounter while making transactions through the Vibrant app. 

 

Response Codes      Description Recommendation 
101 Connection error This error can show when using the app and only occurs when there is no connection or poor connection to the internet. Try checking your internet connection. If everything seems like it's how it should be, try to restart your router or any other source of internet. 
104 Server error This will occur when your login details have been used to log in to another device. Your login details can only be used for one device at a time. Try to log off different devices your account might be connected to 
Response Message: Error occurred while reading card This occurs when there has been a physical error with the phone reading the card. Typically this is caused by improper placement of the card to the phone.

65 - Exceeds Withdrawal Count Limit This applies only for MasterCard. The terminal can respond with this error when the card has reached its contactless limit of transactions.

Please ask the customer to use another payment method. Only a transaction with Pin (above 350kr.) will work if this error occurs.

70 - Contact Card Issuer This applies only for Visa. The terminal can respond with this error when the card has reached its contactless limit of transactions.

55 invalid pin The customer  has entered an incorrect PIN.  The customer should re-enter their PIN or use another payment method.
